Knowing that Christmas is just around the corner is exciting! Haven’t we all missed Joy to the World, Silent Night, White Christmas and of course The Twelve Days of Christmas ... those wonderfully festive carols that help thaw out our winterized vocals are more welcome this year than ever! And yes, 2020 has been a year of challenges throughout the world, but even our burdensome Covidian yokes will be made lighter by the good cheer, meals, laughter and gifts lovingly exchanged by friends and family throughout many lands.        Wendy and l both fondly remember our childhood Christmas...

What's In A Name

Is it ‘Fall’ ? Do we call it ‘Autumn’ ? or maybe, if we’re really trying to impress, ‘Autumnal Equinox’? Whichever we choose, in the Northern hemisphere they all arrive on the 22nd September each year, and are gladly embraced by most of us as we transition from the heat of Summer... And how all of us love landscapes exploding into vibrant yellows, orange and reds as we stand guard for Halloween and Thanksgiving...and who doesn’t mind the extra hour in bed :-)  A coincidence? Which came first, the leaves on Mother Nature’s trees, or our all enveloping body skin?...

The Parable of the Butterfly

Alongside our own testament, Dr Ralph Wilson, portrays an uncanny analogy between one of Mother Nature’s many wonders, and the Christian beliefs of this Easter week.

Borth Beach Soapery wishes our friends an insightful time of reflection during this particular week. Whilst dealing with uncertainty we hope you find comfort in the promise of the resurrection, as do we.

Somehow, the miracle of the butterfly never loses its fascination for us. Perhaps because the butterfly is a living parable of the promise of resurrection.
