FLIPPANT OR FUNNY?

Hello friends,
Here’s hoping that as Christmas is behind us, you’re still surrounded by many precious moments, loved ones and family that'll make this a truly special time of the year. BUT, don’t forget the other special occasion that also comes along on the back-end.
Each year, towards the beginning of January, it’s not unusual to be asked about any personal aspirations we may have for the coming year!
Although many of our answers may range from flippant to funny, simple to serious, the traditions of resolutions span eons of time - even from Babylonian and medieval periods. Did you know it was Julius Caesar who started the tradition of making resolutions on January 1st to honor the Roman mythical god Janus, whose two faces allowed him to look back into the past year and forward to the new year. Romans mostly made morality-based resolutions, such as seeking forgiveness from their enemies.
