TINCTURE - BLOOD SUGAR BALANCE
We believe that nature is God's pharmacy.
Herbal tinctures can be taken alone or mixed into other liquids like water, tea, or juice. They can effectively help digestion, immune system function, and stress management. Herbal tinctures can support overall health and well-being.
Are Tinctures and Extracts Effective?
Our bodies utilize about 98% of herbal extracts/tinctures but only about 50% of capsule and tablets. Tinctures are far more potent due to the large concentration of herbs in a smaller dose
Whether preparing a tincture or an extract depends on the plant and whether the leaves, flowers, root or fruit is being used. We use the old-fashioned cold process method which is time consuming but well worth it.
The difference between a tincture and an extract is that tinctures are always made with alcohol as the solvent. Any other solvent used, the preparation is an extract, not a tincture
BLOOD SUGAR BALANCE - Stabilizes Glucose Levels
Ingredients: Oregon Grape Root, Goji Berry, Astralagus Root, Fenugreek Leaf & Seeds, Tulsi, Milk Thistle, Gymnema Sylvestre, Alcohol
- Oregon Grape (Berberine) – Oregon Grape (Berberis spp.) offers liver support, cardiovascular support, and blood glucose regulation. Berberine possesses an array of cardiovascular properties, including antiarrythmic and vasodilatory properties (Lau et al. 2001).
- Goji Berry - Studies suggest that goji berries may help regulate blood sugar levels by affecting insulin and glucose metabolism. Research indicates that goji berries can increase HDL (good) cholesterol levels, which is beneficial for heart health.
- Tulsi - may bring about a significant decrease in fasting and postprandial blood glucose levels. Tulsi is known to improve insulin sensitivity and reduce the burden on pancreatic beta cells in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
- Milk Thistle - is regarded as a potent agent against insulin resistance and diabetes-induced hyperglycemia. Silymarin may enhance insulin sensitivity, meaning cells become more responsive to insulin's signal to absorb glucose from the blood. This can help improve blood sugar control.
- Gymnema Sylvestre - Studies suggest Gymnema may help lower blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. Gymnemic acid, a key component of Gymnema, may block sugar receptors in the intestines, reducing the amount of sugar absorbed into the bloodstream.
